Student Advisory Board Application Instructions

The Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA) Student Advisory Board is now accepting applications for new members. Candidates should be rising sophomores or juniors with an interest in ICA, contemporary art, and student leadership on Penn’s campus.*

Please send a cover letter and résumé outlining your campus involvement and work experience. In addition, your application should include a written response that effectively and succinctly answers the following three questions. Please answer each question separately with a recommended maximum 250 word count per response.

· Why do you want to be on the ICA Student Advisory Board?

· How will you contribute to the ICA Student Advisory Board?

· What has been your favorite ICA experience and why?

Review process

An ICA staff person and members of the Student Advisory Board will review applications. Candidates selected for an interview will be contacted by a current Student Advisory Board member in early April. Your patience in this process is greatly appreciated.

*Applications will not be accepted from candidates planning to study abroad in the next immediate academic year. You must be a currently enrolled Penn undergraduate to apply.
