Coffee & Conversation

Ruffneck Constructivists: William Pope.L installation view

Enjoy a cup of La Colombe coffee and join PennDesign MFA candidate Lydia Rosenberg for an intimate conversation inspired by the ICA exhibition Ruffneck Constructivists.

Focusing specifically on artworks by Jennie C. Jones, Dineo Seshee Bopape, William Pope L., and Tim Portlock, the discussion will explore the systems of oppression that structure our physical environment and that are embedded within social experience. With these artists in mind we will begin to imagine how to turn these systems inside out.
