Samantha Gibb Roff

Before joining ICA in 2011, Samantha Gibb served as Executive Director of the Duluth Art Institute (DAI) in Duluth, Minnesota (2002–2011). In that role, she was responsible for direction and management of programming, planning, fundraising, marketing, staffing, facility, and administration of the DAI—a 100-year-old organization serving emerging artists primarily of the Upper Midwest region. Prior to DAI, Gibb served as Executive Director of the William Bonifas Fine Arts Center in Escanaba, Michigan (1996–2002). She began her career in arts administration in 1993 when she founded Crystal Falls Contemporary Center, Crystal Falls, Michigan, serving as its first director. Gibb holds an MS in Journalism from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and a BA in English Literature from Rutgers University-Douglass College in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
