Enjoy a complimentary cup of coffee and join Fields Harrington, Penn MFA candidate, for a conversation inspired by artist Cauleen Smith’s ICA exhibition Give It or Leave It. The discussion will focus on the way Smith uses video as a tool of transformation. Participants are invited to sit and spend time within Smith’s installation “Epistrophe,” and consider how her ensemble of materials and objects creates new possibilities to hear and see across media.
Fields Harrington is an interdisciplinary artist that is living in Philadelphia. He received his BFA from the University of North Texas and has participated in the lecture series Living Room Light Exchange in New York. He is currently an MFA candidate in Fine Arts at the University of Pennsylvania.
