Finding the Virgo – Philadelphia Asian American Film Fest

About

A timeless tale of war, desperation, survival, and heroism – a story needed now more than ever before

In 1980, 62 Vietnamese refugees were rescued after 10 days at sea by the U.S.-based cargo ship LNG Virgo. Now settled in the United States, one family of survivors embarks on a decades-long search for the captain and crew of the ship that gave them new life.

Filmmakers expected in attendance for post-film Q&A.
