Join Lino Kino members Emilie Slater and Maya Shengold in conversation with Kyuri Jeon to discuss her work, Born, Unborn and Born Again. Jeon is one of the eight artists selected by Lino Kino for the 21st edition of Open Video Call, an annual screening of curated videos by Philadelphia-area artists.

About the artist

Kyuri Jeon (b. 1990, South Korea) is an interdisciplinary artist based in Philadelphia. She received her MFA at the University of Pennsylvania in 2020. Jeon’s work has been shown at Vox Populi and Fjord Gallery in Philadelphia, Festival Film Dokumenter in Indonesia, and the Seoul Independent Documentary Festival and the Migrant Film Festival in South Korea.

About Lino Kino

Lino Kino is a Philadelphia-based media arts collective dedicated to exploring new approaches to experimental art exhibition. Since the spring of 2018 Lino Kino has worked towards creating an open forum for film and electronic art in Philadelphia by hosting frequent screenings and performance events.
