Internet Identities: Public Tour with Francesca Richman

Tag: Proposals on Queer Play and the Ways Forward, installation view, Institute of Contemporary Art, University of Pennsylvania. Photo: Constance Mensh.

The intergenerational and international artists whose work is exhibited in Tag: Proposals on Queer Play and the Ways Forward each use different types of media for personal representation. Beyond local meet-ups and community centers lies another possibility for communication: the internet. Due to such technology, over the last ten years, the unlimited spaces for articulating gender and sexual identification have flourished. This tour will focus on the possibilities for art and identification through online platforms.

This event is free and open to the public.
