Enjoy a complimentary cup of La Colombe coffee and join Penn History of Art PhD and PennDesign MFA candidates for an intimate conversation inspired by the ICA exhibitions on view.

Roksana Filipowska, Penn History of Art PhD candidate, leads a conversation about plasticity and synesthesia prompted by the ICA exhibition Easternsports by Alex Da Corte and Jayson Musson. Full of references to popular culture, cinema, and literature, Easternsports stages existential questions through an intimate interaction with brightly colored plastic objects. How is our experience of images mediated by plastic? How is virtual plasticity related to material reality?
