It means it is raining

About

Invited to respond to Kimowan McLain: Without Ground, as part of ICA’s 50th anniversary project, Duane Linklater set out on a search for the traces left behind by the late artist. In addition to the ramp project presented in the physical space of ICA, Linklater responds to Kimowan Metchewais’s writing, which was generously shared by Antje Thiessen and Laena Wilder. Linklater and Liz Park copied passages in their own hand-writing, and share Metchewais’s words on this online platform.

We extend our deep thanks to Antje and Laena, the family of Kimowan Metchewais, as well as to everyone we talked to along the way: Ingrid Schaffner, Geoffrey Batchen, Kathleen Ash-Milby, Jeff Whetstone, and Larry McNeil.
