Summer Studio with Anthony Campuzano

About

Philadelphia artist Anthony Campuzano (b. 1975, Philadelphia) transforms ICA’s second floor galleries into a free-form art school and working artists’ studio, both free and open to the public. Campuzano has invited peers, mentors, professors, and other special guests to provide art instruction in various media, discuss past and current projects, screen favorite videos and films, and contribute work on view throughout the month. Grounding this program is a series of restaged lessons that Campuzano found formative in his development as a young artist. Summer Studio features artwork by Kate Abercrombie, Frank Bramblett, John Finneran, Anissa Mack, Paul Ramirez Jonas and Fritz Welch.

ICA acknowledges the DolfingerMcMahon Foundation for generously sponsoring this project. Additional funds have been provided by the Christian R. and Mary F. Lindback Foundation; The Horace W.
