Collectively, ICA’s forthcoming exhibition program examines liminal space between the public and private (the home and the yard) as catalysts for artistic expression and their influence on understanding art. Spanning process-intensive artmaking practices, mediums, and disciplines, artists in this program embark on familial and inter-generational explorations of intimacy, deconstructing the poetics of space and revealing how the architecture of the private has rippling impacts on the way one sees the world.
