Elizabeth Chong
Visitor Services Coordinator

Chong is ICA’s visitor services coordinator. She trains and coordinates the visitor services team, and works to cultivate a welcoming environment for visitors and staff alike.
Chong has over eighteen years of professional experience at cultural institutions, including the Rosenbach Museum and Library and Cranbrook Art Museum. She is passionate about making cultural spaces accessible for everyone. She enjoys working with the public and mentoring the work-study students who comprise much of the visitor services team.
Chong received her MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art. As an artist, her work explores contradiction in society’s norms through investigating relationships. She questions the artist’s role in observing, informing, or critiquing the inconsistencies in humanity.
