Bio

Liz Barr has been the Programs Coordinator at ICA since March 2018. Before coming into her current role, she worked at ICA as the part-time Public Engagement Assistant, while also working as the Administrative Coordinator at BlackStar Film Festival. Liz has held internship positions at the Common Press, ICA, and Philadelphia Mural Arts Program, as well as a printmaking fellowship at Kelly Writers House (KWH).

Liz studied Fine Arts at the University of Pennsylvania and received the Fine Arts Outstanding Graduating Senior Award in 2016. Her work has been shown in solo, two-person, and group exhibitions in Philadelphia; as well as group exhibitions in Brooklyn, NY; Purchase, NY; Milwaukee, WI; and Cluj-Napoca, Romania. She has had visual work published in Title Magazine, Orlando, Leste Magazine, and VICE Motherboard. Her zines and other printed works are in catalogs across the country, including at Artbook at MoMA PS1, Printed Matter, Inc., The ICA Shop at VCU, and Ulises.
