Bio

Natalie Sandstrom joined ICA as the Program Coordinator in the spring of 2019. She is a graduate of Smith College, where she studied English and art history, and completed a concentration in museum education. In addition to her undergrad work at the education department of the Smith College Museum of Art, Sandstrom interned at the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery and Artforum International Magazine. She is a contributing writer at artcritical.com and the Philly Artblog, and her work will be featured in the forthcoming book For Love or Money: Confronting the State of Museum Salaries. In her chapter, Sandstrom explores the importance of paid internships in creating an equitable museum field.
