Paul Swenbeck has worked with ICA since 1995 as a member of the installation crew. In 2000 he founded a fine art crating and installation company with his wife, artist Joy Feasley. Working with artists Barry McGee and Damian Ortega, he installed exhibitions at the Venice Biennale in 2001 and 2003, and he was Chief Preparator at the Fabric Workshop and Museum from 1999–2009, where he worked with many prominent artists including Kara Walker, Doug Aitken, and Ed Ruscha. Swenbeck received a BFA in Ceramics from Massachusetts College of Art in 1991 and has exhibited his artwork internationally, including in the ICA exhibitions Dirt on Delight (2009) and The Big Nothing (2004). He is represented by Fleisher/Ollman Gallery in Philadelphia.
