Taja Jones

Associate Director of Development

Bio

As the associate director of development and alumni relations, Jones oversees the Annual Fund fundraising campaigns and manages the Donor Club, the annual giving leadership group. She also oversees the Annual Benefit, ICA’s largest fundraising event, which supports exhibitions, public programs, and educational initiatives.

Previously, Jones was the associate director of development and board liaison at the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance, where she learned about major and individual giving, grant writing reporting, and corporate sponsorships. It was during this time that she fell in love with the vital work of connecting donors to the causes and organizations about which they are most passionate. She values ICA’s collaborative spirit and, as a fundraising professional, enjoys working closely with colleagues across departments and disciplines.

Jones holds an MS in museum leadership from Drexel University and a BA in cultural anthropology and religious studies from the University of Pennsylvania. She is a personal trainer and group fitness instructor, and she serves on the board of the Movement Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to making movement more accessible in Philadelphia.
