Artist John Pilson received a B.A. in 1991 from Sarah Lawrence College, where he studied photography and philosophy, and an M.F.A. in photography in 1993 from Yale University. He has exhibited his work at P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center, at the Museum of Modern Art, and at the Hamburger Kunsthalle in Germany, among others. Mr. Pilson has been an artist-in-residence at the Harvestworks Digital Media Arts Center and the LMCC World Views Program. Mr. Pilson was appointed to the Yale faculty in 2001 and is currently critic in photography.
